Special rarely happens twice. This is no exception.

We've had a long-term fascination with Detroit's historic theaters. These hulking monoliths to art and culture stand there despite the tests of time. It's no small task though; dozens of people work every day to keep these magical stages alive for generations to enjoy.

Since most of these theaters are operating establishments, we thought a theater tour would be out of the question. Dream as we might, it's just too difficult to get access to these clandestine organizations and even harder to get 50 of our friends in there with us.
