Save the Pups Launch

Here's the Latest on Andi, Save The Pups! and a New Friend

Here's a whole new way to follow your favorite little pup.

We're going all the way!

Your good deed just got better.

So, the outpouring of support for Andi has been absolutely astouding. There's simply no words for it: Over 260 people have donated upwards of $7,300 towards Andi's care. Now, Andi needs a whole lot more care to get back to brand new, but she's not going to use even close to the full amount raised.  The question is: what do we do from here? Andi has showed us both as a company and as individuals that there's a massive need out there to help our little friends. There's too many unfed pups out there for us to rest soundly on having just saved one, so we're going to amplify your donation and make it into something truly incredible and lasting.

We've now officially organized Save the Pups! which is our initiative to help local rescue organizations both fundraise and gather resources towards accomplishing their goals.

Our very first case is already at the vet and getting the emergency care she needs:

Meet Angel

Angel was surrendered this week to the Detroit Bully Corps. She currently weighs 19 pounds when she's supposed to weigh 40.

The vets estimate that she was starved purposefully to be used as a bait dog to train other fighting dogs due to the scars she has all over her.

This is simply unacceptable. No civilized society treats their animals this way. We will make absolutely certain that the party responsible for this is punished to the fullest extent of the law, but in the meantime, Angel is fighting for each and every breath. We've committed $400 for her care out of Andi's funds to pay the emergency vet directly. Other organizations are chipping in other similar amounts to make sure they don't need to cut any costs on her recovery.

Her survival isn't certain yet; she still has an astoundingly long way to go before she's even stable.
