Detroit Bus Co. Asks: Does Your City Want You To Make Friends?

How does where we live affect who we know?

Does Your City Want You To Make Friends? How does where we live affect who we know?

Over here at the Detroit Bus Company we're always curious about how cities work, and what makes a place feel like home.  We believe that a big part of it is being able to get out of your house and see familiar faces, which is why we were so interested in this article when it popped up for us the other day.  An interesting question: how much does where you live affect how you live?  Do you live downtown, within walking distance of a local pub where you meet your neighbors after work?  Do you have to go out of your way to find those casual social interactions?  That's part of the reasoning behind Detroit Bus Co. Field Trips, our new series of Wednesday night excursions: it's an excuse to get out and see your buds.    It's no secret, feeling isolated sucks. Here's hoping you find a chance this weekend to see the folks you care the most about!  -The Detroit Bus Co. Team
